DC Comics has just anounced on their official blog that they are bringing back Aquaman in their 'Brightest Day' bi-weekly comic starting in April. This is fantastic news for die hard Aquaman fans, myself included that have had to sit by for years frustrated with the lack of care given to the charater.
And the less we talk about the whole One Year Later 'Sword of Atlantis' fiasco the better. Not too much is known about his role yet but they did include a very nice cover to issue 2 by David Finch. Let's hope Geoff Johns can revitalise the character te way he did with Green Lantern and to a lessor extent Barry Allen.
Speaking of Flash Rebirth briefly, it still hasnt finished and it's taken almost a year to release a 6 issue miniseries which really has started to lose a lot of momentum lately. Perhaps it's because he doesnt know when his flate is full enough. Having said that I still look forward to his take on Aquaman and will be getting the new Flash monthly when it eventually comes out.
